i heard this from last night’s grey’s anatomy episode..
Dream
by Priscilla Ahn
I was a little girl, alone in my little world
Who dreamed of a little home for me
I played pretend between the trees
And fed my house guests bark and leaves
And laughed in my pretty bed of green
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest swing
I had a dream
Long walks in the dark through woods grown behind the park
I asked God who I'm supposed to be
The stars smiled down at meGod answered in silent reverie
I said a prayer, and fell asleep
I had a dream
That I could fly from the highest tree
I had a dream
Oooh, oooh, oooh, ooohOooh, oooh, oooh, oooh
Now I'm old and feeling grey
I don't know whats left to say
About this life I'm willing to leave
I lived a fool and I lived it well
As many tales I lived to tell
I'm ready now, I'm ready now, I'm ready now
To fly, from the highest wing
I had a dream

four more days to go and i’ll be walking on that long rose petal-dredge aisle as my sister’s maid of honor, and im freaking out. you know how i hate crowds. we’re almost done with the preparations. the invitations was given out, the give-aways done, the bed and the dresser was installed, won the 12 gran venue decoration deal, the costume fittings was made, the wedding cake ordered, the corsage, the catering, so far so good.. here are the things im looking forward to at the upcoming Lantong-Sangki Kalilang:
hmmm.. (1)the venue, that’s one. since many people considered June as the traditional month to get hitched, all the restaurants in the city was booked, leaving us with no choice but to go for the only place available, yet pocket-robbing, the St. Joseph Convention Hall. its huge, has a wide parking space and landscaped. and its a 20 minute drive from the city, chances of gate crashers reduced. its perfect. another thing im excited about is the (2)venue decoration. i heard so much about the decorator and i’ve seen his works. not baaad!!! a bit expensive though. and the (3)entourage. did i mention i was the maid of honor? heheh. im having cold feet! anyway, the bride’s maids consists of my youngest sister Bhes and tayan’s roomies back in MSU: shiba, aya & punky. and the groom’s men? no idea. (4)the wedding cake. its suppose to be a three-layer off white frosted chocolate cake decorated with fresh orange roses at the top and orange beadings. sorry, lacking of words there. oh well, you get the picture! and lastly, (5)the langkad. hahaha. im not sure if the elderly is serious about this. but they insist i ask for a huge amount of money, 10K to be exact, for having my younger sister being married off first. its tradition.
ill just post the pics after the wedding.. thanks for reading..
